Saket Saurabh is an award-winning Director of Photography with over 12 years of experience in shooting narrative films, documentaries, commercials, and television shows worldwide. He earned a Two-Year Post Graduate Diploma Specialization in Cinematography from the LV Prasad Film and Television Academy in Chennai. He nurtured his craft under the guidance of the legendary cinematographer PC Sreeram ISC, contributing to films such as "Shamitabh," "OK Kanmani," and "Ki And Ka." His independent films such as "Aadha Chand Tum Rakhlo," which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner in 2015, and "Surveillance," for which he received the Best Cinematography Award at the 11th Darbhanga International Film Festival 2023. His short film, "The Lost Behrupiya," earned the prestigious 61st National Film Award for Best Arts/Cultural Film and the Best Indie Fest Merit Award in California in 2014.
Saket believes that every cinematographer has a distinct visual style defining their work and aesthetics. For him, the world of the story doesn't have to look good every time; instead, it needs to enhance the narrative and keep audiences invested.
